No. Students are not permitted to bring fire arms. We are very pro second amendment! But prefer for students to trust us with their safety. We don’t want someone shooting at what they may think is a bear at night, but is actually just another student snoring!

Yes. Students may want to bring extra cash to purchase items to use on the course. (or tip their instructor)
Can I bring a tent?
Tents are generally not recommended on the weekend warrior course, however, special circumstances will be taken into account. Hammocks with netting are another option. most choose to sleep on a ground mat under the stars, weather permitting.

Nothing. You will either overcome your fear or have a scary weekend in the woods. Once we are deep into the wilderness we cannot jeopardize the safety of the group to escort one person back to their vehicle.
